South Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 904 Posts

South Western Railway Bharti 2025 – The South Western Railway (SWR), under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has published a centralized notification for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26.

A total of 904 apprentice vacancies are available across various divisions and workshops including Hubballi, Mysuru, Bengaluru, and Central Workshop Mysuru. Eligible candidates can apply online at www.rrchubli.in between 14th July 2025 to 13th August 2025.

About the Recruiting Organization (South Western Railway)

The South Western Railway (SWR) is one of the 19 railway zones in India and operates under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Headquartered at Hubballi, Karnataka, the zone was carved out of Southern and Central Railways in 2003. The SWR network covers Karnataka, parts of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Goa, and Maharashtra. It plays a vital role in regional connectivity and economic development through both freight and passenger transport.

South Western Railway has been a consistent contributor in modernizing railway infrastructure, introducing new services, and promoting safety and customer convenience. It operates three main divisions: Hubballi, Bengaluru, and Mysuru. The recruitment for apprentices is managed by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Hubballi, which acts as the nodal agency for centralized recruitment processes. SWR also supports the Government of India’s Skill India Mission through training and engagement of Act Apprentices every year across its various workshops and divisions.

Click on “Act Apprentice Notification 2025-26” and then “Apply Online”.
Fill in your personal, educational, and ITI details correctly.
Upload your recent photograph, signature, and required documents in the correct format.
Pay the application fee of ₹100/- online via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
Download the acknowledgment/receipt and print the application form for future reference.

General/OBC/EWS: ₹100/-
SC/ST/Women/PwBD: No Fee

Selection Process

Selection will be based on a merit list prepared from:
- Average of marks in 10th Class + ITI trade certificate
In case of tie: Older candidate will be preferred, followed by earlier 10th pass year
Final merit list will be prepared unit-wise, trade-wise and category-wise
Document verification and medical fitness will be mandatory

Exam Pattern

There is no written examination. Selection will be based purely on the average of marks in 10th + ITI. No interview or test will be conducted.

भरती करणारी संस्था (South Western Railway) विषयी

South Western Railway (SWR) ही भारतीय रेल्वे अंतर्गत 19 झोनपैकी एक असून मुख्यालय हुबळी (कर्नाटका) येथे आहे. SWR झोनची स्थापना 2003 मध्ये करण्यात आली होती. हा विभाग कर्नाटका, आंध्र प्रदेश, तमिळनाडू, गोवा आणि महाराष्ट्रातील काही भागांना रेल्वे सेवा पुरवतो.

या रेल्वे विभागात तीन मुख्य विभाग आहेत – हुबळी, बेंगळुरू आणि माईसूर. विभागात रेल्वे सेवा उन्नत करण्यासाठी विविध सुधारणा, आधुनिक सुविधा आणि रेल्वे सुरक्षा यावर भर दिला जातो. दरवर्षी SWR विविध वर्कशॉपमध्ये Apprentices प्रशिक्षणाकरिता भरती करत असते. ही भरती प्रक्रिया रेल्वे रिक्रूटमेंट सेल (RRC), हुबळी यांच्यामार्फत राबवली जाते.
