The Army Ordnance Corps (AOC), Ministry of Defence has released Advertisement No. AOC/CRC/2026/AUG for recruitment of 2615 Group-C civilian posts. The posts include Tradesman Mate (1799), Fireman (520), Junior Office Assistant (104), Multi-Tasking Staff (142) and Material Assistant (50). Online applications started from 24 August 2026 and the last date to apply is 23 September 2026 (up to 23:59 Hrs). Candidates from 10th pass to graduate level can apply depending on the post. This is one of the biggest defence civilian recruitments of the year.

Educational Qualification (As on closing date of application)

• Tradesman Mate: Matriculation / 10th Pass from a recognized Board
• Fireman: Matriculation / 10th Pass from a recognized Board
• Junior Office Assistant (JOA): 12th Pass from a recognized Board or University + English Typing @ 35 w.p.m. or Hindi Typing @ 30 w.p.m.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Matriculation / 10th Pass from a recognized Board
• Material Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any stream from a recognized University

Age Limit (as on closing date)

• Tradesman Mate & Fireman: 18 to 25 years
• Junior Office Assistant, MTS & Material Assistant: 18 to 27 years

Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, Central Government employees, widows/divorced women and meritorious sports persons as per Government rules.

4. Upload scanned photograph, signature and required documents.
5. Submit the application before 23 September 2026 (23:59 Hrs).

Note: No other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates can apply for more than one post if they fulfil the eligibility criteria for each post.
