RailTel Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 40+ Graduate & Diploma Trainee Posts
RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (RCIL) Recruitment 2025 – RailTel has issued a notification for engagement of eligible Graduate and Diploma Engineers for one-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Applications are invited for around 40 positions across various regions in India. The last date to apply is 16 August 2025.
About the Organization – RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (RCIL)
RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. (RCIL) is a “Navratna” Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Railways. It is one of India’s largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers. RailTel owns a pan-India optic fiber network laid along railway tracks and offers broadband and VPN services. Its infrastructure spans across railway stations, government buildings, and remote rural areas.
RCIL has been pivotal in transforming railway stations into digital hubs with free Wi-Fi and high-speed internet. RailTel also provides data center services, VPN connectivity, and managed services to various government and corporate clients. The company plays a key role in the Government of India’s Digital India initiative and supports projects like BharatNet, NICNET, and e-office implementation. RailTel’s wide network presence and commitment to technology make it an excellent training ground for engineering graduates and diploma holders aiming to enter the telecom and IT infrastructure industry.
This apprenticeship engagement is intended to upskill engineering graduates and diploma holders across Electronics, Telecom, Computer Science, Electrical and related fields. The candidates will be posted across various regional RailTel offices including Delhi, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and more.

Application Process
- Go to the NATS 2.0 portal and register yourself as a student (if not already registered).
- After registration, login and find “RAILTEL CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED” in available opportunities.
- Upload all required documents including percentage certificate/CGPA conversion proof as a single PDF (max 1MB).
- Submit your application on or before 16 August 2025.
- Follow the detailed steps in NATS Student Manual.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on merit (marks obtained in Graduation/Diploma).
- Preference will be given to Govt. institution pass-outs.
- Interviews may be conducted region-wise if required.
- Final selection subject to medical fitness and document verification.
Terms & Conditions
- Apprenticeship is for 1 year only. No extension or job guarantee post training.
- Apprentices will receive only stipend. No additional benefits are applicable.
- Candidates who have already completed/terminated previous apprenticeships are not eligible.
- Only fresh graduates/diploma holders (within 3 years of passing) are eligible.
